More than 30 years of experience in Satellite technology, spacecraft configuration, assembly, integration and tests. Handled a number of satellite projects in different managerial capacities. Served as Head, Satellite Integration Division in Indian Space Research Organisation. And later as Head, Broadcast Operations and Engineering in WorldSpace India. Headed the technical team from ISRO for configuring a spacecraft for an international client. Formerly, Visiting Faculty, at post-graduate level for “Spacecraft Configuration” in Indian Institute of Science.

Over 35 years of experience in broadcasting in various capacities. Formerly, Engineer-in-Chief , All India Radio (AIR).Responsible for setting up the New Broadcasting House (NBH) in New Delhi, a fully automated digital broadcast studio complex. Responsible for initiation and execution of many new services and R & D activities of AIR. Worked as an Expert with EURO-DAB group; Asia-Pacific Tele-Community (APT) and DPR-Korea. Vice-Chairman, Study Group-6 of International Telecommunications Union (ITU). Formerly, Chairman, LTD-20 of Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS).
